Read the Compliance Radar

Tom opens Compliance Radar to see where Claymont stands. This page walks the screen panel by panel and says which figures are real. Four of the five panels show numbers that are not measurements of your sites. One panel is real, and it needs one click to appear.

Who can do this

A read-only account is let onto the page by the menu and then refused every figure by PTRS, so it sees half an error page and half zeros. A staff member sees Access Denied.

Before you start

Nothing needs setting up. The page opens with no site chosen and shows the whole organisation. The Compliance Radar entry appears in the menu for every signed-in account, including roles that cannot use it.

Step 1: open Compliance Radar

Open Compliance Radar from the menu. The page shows a grey placeholder for just under a second before drawing anything. That is normal.

Five panels, stacked: OCCL Compliance Overview, Compliance Categories, Active Compliance Alerts, Credential Tracker, All Staff and OCCL Inspection Readiness Simulator.

If you see "Access Denied, You do not have permission to view compliance data.", your role cannot use this page. That is a staff member's normal outcome.

Step 2: skip the OCCL Compliance Overview

The large gauge reads 0% with "Org Average" under it, then "-1.2% from last quarter", and no per-site gauges appear.

None of that is a measurement. The gauge averages a list the page never receives, so it is always 0; the -1.2% is fixed text; the missing gauges are the same empty list. The badge beneath reads "No inspection data available", which is true: the records it would read are never created.

Do not read a compliance score off this panel. There is none to read. See How the compliance score is calculated.

Step 3: use three of the six area cards, and only the lower half of each

Every card's headline percentage, top right next to a trend arrow, reads 0%. That figure comes from the same empty list as the gauge, and the arrow beside it points the same way on every card every day.

The lower half of three cards is real, because each has its own feed:

CACFP Compliance	One line per CACFP record with its status and last submission date	Yes. Ignore the Meals vs Present bar beneath it, which is made by multiplying the headcount by 0.85.
Incident Reporting	Four tiles and an OCCL progress bar	Partly. Open always reads 0; Avg Resolution is a fixed 18.5 hours; OCCL Submitted and Overdue Follow-ups read 0 out of 0 because the page never receives those figures.

The other three cards:

Card	What it shows
Staff-to-Child Ratios	Bars from the live ratio feed, which never reports a breach. Show Details prints fixed words about the Wilmington club whoever you are.
Credential Currency	A donut and valid, expiring and expired counts that are permanently 0, 0, 0. Use the Credential Tracker panel instead.
Safety Records	Nothing, ever. Nothing in PTRS creates a safety record.

Step 4: click a sort pill to make Credential Tracker appear

Credential Tracker, All Staff is the one panel that reads real data from end to end: every active staff member in your organisation, every credential they hold, the days remaining and a colour band per credential.

When the page first opens it says "No staff found, No staff members found for the selected location." That is not a data problem. Click any of the three sort pills, By Expiry, By Location or By Type, and the full list appears at once. Changing the site in the header does the same.

Checkpoint

One row per staff member with initials, name, role, site, a colour bar made of their credentials, and a label reading a number of days left or a number of days overdue. The three badges at the top right of the panel, expired, expiring and current, now hold real counts.

Step 5: expand a staff row for the detail

Click any row. A table opens with Credential Type, Expiry Date, Days Left and Status for each credential.

The colour bands are red past expiry, orange within 30 days, amber within 90 days, and green beyond. The Status column uses only two lines, expired past expiry and expiring soon within 30 days, so a credential expiring in 60 days is labelled Valid in the table while its bar segment is amber.

Tom sorts By Expiry. Denise's First Aid card is orange, 24 days left. That is the one thing on this screen he can act on today.

Step 6: ignore the alerts table and the inspection simulator

Active Compliance Alerts shows a count badge that always reads 0, and the only rows it can ever hold are made up in the browser from the ratio feed. Resolve and Assign on a row show a message and do nothing. Nothing in PTRS can resolve a compliance alert.

OCCL Inspection Readiness Simulator reads inspection records that nothing in PTRS creates. It says "Last simulated: Never" and "0 compliance checks" before you press it, and FULL PASS with 0 passed, 0 warnings and 0 failed immediately after. Generate Remediation Plan and Share with Board say the plan was "sent to all site directors" and the report "shared with board members". Nothing is sent or shared.

What you now have

The organisation's real credential position: who is expired, who is expiring, and by how many days. And you know that the percentages, the alert count and the inspection verdict on the same screen are not measurements.

When something goes wrong
